Iran, a new phase of international conflict.

Have we forgotten 9/11, have we forgotten how a dozen suicidal Al Qaida, Islamic extremists hit New York, killed three thousand people and brought down the twin towers. Are our memories so short we think Iran cannot hurt US interests and US people across the world.

Trump, the dictator of the USA, has unilaterally, and illegally, decided to start a war with Iran, a prediction I made last week with my ‘Display Addict’ article. Now he demands peace behind the threat of further bombings.

Bombing for peace, is like f--king for virginity. Trump has broken the hymen and there is no going back.

America’s ‘no wars on my watch’ isolationist president has attacked Iran to assist Bibi Netanyahu. Trump was persuaded in the simplest terms by Israel that Iran must not have a bomb. That’s all, no other argument. Iran must not have a bomb. Simple terms for simple minds. The nuances and technical intelligence from Trump’s own intelligence services were too complicated. He doesn’t have the attention span nor the mental faculties to absorb information above the level of a comic book.

If history shows us one thing about war, it proves we cannot bomb countries into submission! This is the beginning of a new phase of international conflict that will burn outwards from Iran and spread across the world.

There is no requirement for member countries of the UN to provide any support to the USA for this attack. There is especially no requirement for Keir Stamer to offer support. This attack breached the US constitution, international law and the UN charter. Trump carried out an act of war against Iran without consulting Congress.

Getting mealy mouthed with words and legalities is an American speciality. Perhaps it’s not ‘a war’ perhaps it’s a ‘special military operation that will only last three days.’

Those in the USA who think all their problems can be solved with military force are going to regret Trump’s decision. Iran will not stop carrying out nuclear research. In fact it is more likely that they will pursue this objective with greater passion in the belief the only security they can ever have from the USA is a nuclear deterrent.

The general population of the USA think Iran is full of religious extremists with biblical levels of sophistication. They are wrong! Iran has a highly educated and advanced population. Suspect they surely are as a government, anti-Israel they surely are, agents of international terrorism they surely are, but Iran is a huge nation that feeds most of the middle east. They prompted Hamas to attack Israel, they declare that Israel must be destroyed. Israel is still there with a nuclear capacity, the strongest military power in the middle east. Fear of Iran places the population of Israel securely in the hands of Netinyahu.

The USA cannot expect much support for this attack even from Sunni Arab nations like Saudi Arabia. It’s much more complicated than that. Iran feeds he middle east.

If Trump wants an isolated USA, he has taken another huge step towards that goal. In less than six months he has undermined NATO, alienated his allies, removed support for Ukraine, (who were also attacked) crushed the US economy, destroyed any respect for US rule of law and placed masked thugs on the streets with almost unlimited powers of arrest.

Now he bombs Iran. He doesn’t have the attention span, or the mental faculties to absorb information above the level of a comic book!
