All Wars Lead To Russia.
Putin’s greatest strategic success in 2023 was to persuade Iran to unleash Hamas onto Israel. October 7th, 2024, was the one-year anniversary of the atrocious attack on the Nova Music Festival in Re’im that began with an overwhelming rocket attack followed up by Hamas murderers on motor bikes who killed, raped, and slaughtered civilians running to or hiding in shelters, and took more than 250 hostages including the corpses of some Israeli victims. 1256 young music fans were estimated to have been killed. Many came from other nations including Russia.
These atrocities were recorded, and video footage was distributed with pride by Hamas and then later, in shock by the IDF when they came into possession of the recordings. There can be no doubt to their authenticity as the video below shows graphic images of the crimes that Hamas terrorists committed. The outrages committed reflect the influences of Russian instructors possibly Wagner mercenaries. The ruthless terror tactics of killing all men women and children, mutilating bodies, and executing hostages are used to instil so much fear into a population that they enter what is described as battlefield shock and cease to function. Massacre of civilians is now acceptable to Hamas. Israel under Netanyahu is prepared to fight fire with fire.

In the weeks before the Re’im attack Russian representatives met with leaders of Iran and Hamas. It would be extremely naïve not to believe these meetings were linked to the sudden and unexpected attack on Re’im. Putin, Iran, and Hamas knew that Netanyahu would be forced to make a strong response against Hamas. Israel’s offensive to date has killed more than 15,000 Palestinians in Gaza most of them civilians. Whether or not this response was or is proportionate is a different discussion. My point here is that Russia is that all contemporary wars lead back to Russia.
It is my opinion that Putin persuaded or bribed Iran to unleash Hamas to remove world attention and financial support away from Ukraine. This sudden escalation of the Israel, Palestine conflict was initiated solely for the benefit of Russia. This was strategic expert stroke by Putin and the world press especially fell for it.
In an interview with Al Jazeera, Vera Mironova, a Russian-American security expert and research fellow at Harvard University, supported this claim. She said, ‘It was absolutely coordinated with Moscow.’ She also alleged that missiles were supplied to Hamas through Iran and Syria and added ‘In return, Iran is providing Russia with inexpensive kamikaze drones so that their swarms can be launched to wreak havoc and overwhelm Western-supplied air defence systems, such as the US-made MIM-104 Patriot or the Norwegian-made NASAMS.’
Russia of course denies these accusations and has accused anyone repeating them of encouraging unfounded speculation and escalation. Aleksander Venediktov, a member of the Russian Security Council, said, “Such speculations are an open provocation.”
In response, President Zelensky said ‘Russia wants to trigger a war in the Middle East, so a new source of pain and suffering will help Russia to undermine world unity, increase discord and contradictions, and destroy freedom in Europe,’
On September 10, 2024, Mossad Director, David Barnea told reporters he was concerned Russia was ‘seeking to sell advanced weapons to Iran.’ Ukraine’s senior intelligence officer, Kyrylo Budanov, said that he too thought Moscow supplied Hamas with weapons seized in Ukraine as a perfect way to cover Russia’s fingerprints. Israeli opinions are contradictory, with some sources saying that there is no direct evidence of Russian involvement, while others consider it naïve to believe otherwise. Israel may wish to collate more evidence before making accusations.
Hamas was originally formed in 1987 as an extension of the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood Movement. Hamas fighters have relied on Russia for weapons since the 1950s during the cold war. Hamas always claim their weapons are of local manufacture, but laser-targeting systems used in modern anti-tank and anti-aircraft missiles are far beyond their capabilities. Hamas claim Iran is their main manufacturer, but it is likely that the original source is Russia with Iran operating as a go between. On July 1, this year Hamas performed a public show of its weapons. Among the weapons on display were Shihab drones,(made in Iran) grenade launchers, and Russian Kornet anti-tank missiles. However, China and North Korea are also known to produce Russian weapons under licence and can function as proxies to conceal links to Russia.
In March 2024, when Hamas visited Moscow, CNN cited ‘unspecified sources’ who they claim stated Russia had been sending Iran weapons lost in battle in Ukraine, including Javelin anti-tank and Stinger anti-aircraft missiles.
As a result of the attack on the Nova Music Festival, the world press did indeed direct all their resources to the middle east. Republicans in the US House of Representatives managed to slow down financial and military support for Ukraine at the prompting of Donald Trump. Expected munitions for the defence of Ukraine failed to arrive and broke resupply plans to the front lines. Any momentum Ukraine had achieved was halted. The attack on Israel benefited one country alone, Russia. To be sure (which we never will be) the following questions would need to be addressed.
1 Did Russia promise Hamas assistance when they met in March 2024?
2. Did Russia and Iran agree together to help Hamas and Hezbollah to attack Israel as a means of weakening western support for Ukraine.
3. Did Russia and Iran know that the attack on the Nova Music Festival was going to take place?
Syria, Hamas, and Hezbollah are all economically, or militarily, supported by Russia. Iran is one of Russia’s few remaining allies and continues to supply them with Shihab drones which although low tech can still penetrate Ukrainian air defences if launched in sufficient numbers.
The recent successful attack by Israel on the Russian air base in Khmeimim, in Syria shows Netanyahu is very aware of who his enemies truly are. Hezbollah based in Syria and Lebanon, receive most of their military supplies from Moscow, through this airbase.
Syria has depended on Russia for support since the formation of Israel and their defeat in the six-day war in 1967 when they lost the Golan Heights. Another Russian inspired failure that destabilized the Middle East. In 2010/11 Russia allowed Bashir Al Assad to remain in power and to hold out against the spontaneous pro-democracy ‘Arab Spring’ revolt that change the governments of North Africa but failed in Syria as a direct result of Russian Military support.
In 2015, Russia, and Syria signed a treaty, which allowed the use by Russia of Khmeimim Airport, free of charge and with no time limit. Syrian Forces remain in in charge of protecting the base perimeter, but Russian troops are responsible for air defence. Israeli missiles destroyed airport control buildings and ammunition stores, so preventing further supplies to be made to Hezbollah who operate out of Syria and Lebanon attacking north of Israel. ISIS the Islamic State of Iraq also operates from Syria and has recently been the subject of US air attacks. ISIS could not operate there without Syrian and Russian support.
When Syria, Iraq, Iran and Afghanistan ceased fighting among themselves or with the UN they quickly became dependent on Russia to bypass international sanctions. They formed a barrier across the middle east that protects Russia’s southern borders. Türkiye as a NATO member threatens this new central Islamic empire by controlling the Bosphorus and access to the Black Sea. Armenia, Georgia, and Azerbaijan sit west of Türkiye, South of Russia, and North of Iran, sat firmly in the centre, hoping for closer ties to the west now that Russian military strength is waning.
The illegal immigration problems faced by the western democracies are not spontaneous. Organisation, money and infrastructure, combined with bribery and corruption have created a process that undermines the stability of every country in Europe and feeds the general population into the hands of extremists. Politicians are now suggesting that refugees from Gaza be transported to Europe, where their presence will create greater disharmony and friction. Who benefits?
The focus must return to the greater threat. The press must open their eyes and see what they refuse to see. All wars lead back to Russia, all atrocities lead back to Putin. For Israel to defeat Hamas, Hezbollah, Iran, and Syria the world must first defeat Russia in Ukraine. Although the world might view the Russo/Ukraine war as drawn out three years is not long enough for the draining effects of military losses and economic sanctions to fully take effect. The war in Ukraine is a large war being fought by Ukrainian soldiers sustained by western money and technology. The west can outspend Russia ten times over. Ukraine gives its blood while we give our treasure. It is a fine political bargain for those nations that fear Russian military aggression.
Putin lost this war the day he failed to take Kyiv nearly three years ago. With 660,000 casualties, a million emigrants who fled Russia, a failing economy and increasing shortages of military hardware, he still has not accepted that he cannot win. A wiser man would falsely claim victory and the successful completion of his ‘Special Military Operation’ but that is unlikely.
If Putin is defeated in Ukraine, Iran, Syria, and their terrorist proxies will lose the foundations that they rely on to hold power and maintain their war against Israel.
